Hammond Manufacturing's rugged, diecast aluminIum alloy electronic instrument enclosures are tough but easy to machine. The two- piece lap joint construction provides protection against dust accumulation and splashing water, and also provides for improved EMI/RFI shielding. The painted version is painted with tough powder paint for a lasting finish, even after machining.
Four (or 6) 1/2" machine screws secure the lid by tapped holes. Replacement screws for natural finish series, black painted series, or grey painted series are available. The boxes are designed to meet IP54.
