Ring illuminated piezo switches

Schurter's ring illuminated piezo switch, the PSE M22R, is a vandal protected device suited for application in tight spaces. As the actuating areas are illuminated, they are ideal for equipment designed for use at night. The ring illumination can also be used as optical feedback or for status display (On/Off). With a mounting diameter of only 22 mm, the PSE M22R is the smallest piezo switch in the company's ring illuminated product line.

With a 20 million life cycle operation, the switch requires little servicing. Unlike mechanical switches, piezo switches have no moving parts, offering the advantage that even under continuous operation, there is no risk of loss of function due to parts wearing out.
