Well established in many countries, ECE says its 19" rack-mounting equipment cabinet has become a market standard. Initially designed and manufactured in South Africa, the cabinet boasts features which include robustness due to the unique patented fastening system which allows the basic frame to be firmly locked into place without diminishing the integral strength of the unit by drilling, etc. The other benefit of the system is the ease in assembly after being shipped as a knock-down kit.

The cabinet accepts a full range of standard accessories, also manufactured in-house and compliant with International Standard quality control system ISO 9001. Mounting rails in the cabinet are made from substantial material, which allows for firm and secure fixing, and are adjustable both horizontally and vertically which simplifies retrofitting accessories. Panels and doors are quick release and fully interchangeable. All manufacturing and powder-coating processes are rigidly controlled in compliance with International Standard ISO 9001, SABS audited.
