High power programmable DC supplies

The Sorensen SG series is a new family of high power DC power supplies that the company says introduces performance features unique to the industry and a bold new direction in styling that represents the future of Sorensen products.

Offered in 5 kW to 150 kW configurations, the series uses a modular architecture. The SG family is easily upgradeable and expandable to adapt to changing requirements. It has a fast load transient response of less than 1 ms for a 50% load step and low ripple and noise make the SG series ideal for a large variety of applications in automatic test equipment, process control, and research.

The SG family is available in two models, the SGA and SGI. The SG family is currently offered in 60-600 V models, with 3U high 5 kW to 15 kW models or 20 kW to 30 kW models in 6U high chassis.
