Renesas has announced the third phase of its superAND single die flash memory product range with the 512-Mbit HN29V512A series, which follows its 128-Mbit and 256-Mbit models. It says this new series offers a fast write speed of approximately 4-Mbyte/s and improved ease of use through on-chip memory management functions. The series is available in the same small CSP package (10 x 11,5 x 1,2 mm) as the current 256-Mbit model. It is suitable for use as embedded data storage memory in mobile or small consumer products. Two 3,3 V power supply voltage models are available, a x16-bit configuration supporting a 16-bit bus width, and a x8-bit configuration supporting an 8-bit bus width.
