The increasing level of networking in mobile radio and data transmission technology requires flexible and robust outdoor enclosures for active and passive components. Responding to this need, Rittal developed the CS Toptec system family.
Based on the successful TS 8 enclosure, this solution touts the flexibility of construction, safety and optimal climate control.
It comprises a combination of stainless steel for the enclosure frame and aluminium for flat parts, plus complete outside doubling of walls and doors. This provides maximum mechanical and climatic protection for sensitive electronic assemblies.
Whether as indoor rack, open frame for the company's CS containers or CS Toptec, one enclosure frame for all site applications brings absolute planning safety.
All walls and doors have a double wall mounted outside, which ensures efficient heat exchange and leaves the complete inside space for installation of equipment. Both climate control modules are installed in the same door opening and mounted on the same frame, only at different depth.
Frame sizes 650 x 650 mm and 800 x 650 mm with heights of 1200 and 1600 mm are available. In addition to eight standard enclosures, four integrated cooling solutions, custom projects underline the flexibility of the housing concept.
