Schurter has developed a new PCB-mounting fuseholder approved for currents up to 16 A (VDE) or 20 A (UL). The FUP fuseholder has a 4 W power rating at 16 A and an ambient temperature of 23°C.
The FUP fuseholder can be fitted as required with screw type fuse carriers for either 5 x 20 or 6,3 x 32 mm miniature fuselinks and is suitable for installation in equipment having protection classes I and II in accordance with IEC61140.
Applications for the FUP fuseholder can be found in all areas of electronics, in particular for primary circuit protection in power and household electronics, measurement and control engineering and other industrial equipment.
