Reliable control solutions for tough conditions

11 August 2004 Switches, Relays & Keypads

Otto Controls offers one of the broadest lines of precision switches in the industry. Mechanical switches with up to 1 million cycle life; Hall-effect technology joysticks, Hall-effect switches, sealed high performance, snap action, rocker, two to eight way trim, toggle and rotary switches for commercial and military applications.

The latest addition is a Hall-effect proportional output thumbwheel control with a number of output options. The HTW series offers a self-centring single axis thumbwheel actuator that provides a linear change in voltage output in either direction from centre. Options include increasing or decreasing voltage output from the centre position to the full travel position in either direction and single or dual (redundant) outputs in either direction. The HTW series snaps into a 37,34 x 18 mm panel opening with rocker switch style mounting. It provides 10 million cycle rotational life, IP68 sealing and excellent EMI/RFI immunity.

Otto Controls, founded 40 years ago, is an ISO 9001 Certified company and has designed and manufactured various mechanical and electrical man-to-man machine interfaces for a number of demanding industrial and aerospace applications.
