Gold conductive pills

Tech Rubber has introduced 'gold conductive pills' into its range of silicone rubber key pads. This gives a more precise resistive value - typically 0,01 Ω - so that the design engineers' circuits can be evenly balanced, says the company.

The current range is circular in shape, from 2,5-8 mm diameter, and plating is offered in two thicknesses: 0,15 to 0,6 µm. Operating temperature is 30 to 80°C.
