An on-site tester calibrator has been designed for maintenance and calibration of physical quantities either on site or in labs. The CALYS 5 is two instruments in one. Firstly, it serves as a tester calibrator, and secondly, it serves as a standalone logger. The memory reading is either on the display or via analog output.
The CALYS 5 has been developed for checking equipment in telemetry loops such as transmitters, sensors, converters, positioners and controllers. It can measure temperatures, resistances, and DC voltages and currents. It can simulate thermocouples and RTDs as well as simulate resistances. It can also output DC voltage and current signals. There are up to 200 000 points in simulation.
The instrument also has an interchangeable battery with an operating lifetime of 10 hours and a quick charge time of three hours.
