Intersil says that its new EL5x0x high-speed amplifiers allow designers to use highly stable, easy voltage feedback architecture without sacrificing the high-speed benefits of a current feedback amplifier. They are suited for a range of applications including video amplifiers, PCs, high-speed comms, A/D drivers, line drivers, RGB applications, and active filtering. The EL5104, EL5105, EL5204, EL5205 and EL5304 are available in single, dual and triple versions, with 200, 400 and 700 MHz versions, and operate on single 5 or ±5 V supplies. The EL5104 and EL5204 also feature an output enable function, which can be used to put the output into a high-impedance mode. This enables the outputs of multiple amplifiers to be tied together for use in multiplexing applications.
