Programmable DC power supplies

Sorensen's DML Series 600 W programmable DC power supplies provide continuous variable output voltage and current for a broad range of applications in a 1U high, half rack wide chassis. The units are suited for high density multiple output rackmount requirements or low profile benchtop applications. Output voltages from 0-8 V d.c. to 0-60 V d.c. and currents from 0-10 A to 0-75 A are available.
Cooling air intake is at the front and sides of the unit, with exhaust at the rear and sides. This allows the power supplies to be stacked directly on top of each other yielding maximum rackmount packing density. Variable speed fans are controlled as a function of ambient air temperature and load, thus reducing acoustic noise and increasing fan life. An optional rackmount kit is available to easily mount single or multiple units side-by-side.
The voltage, current and overvoltage programmed values can be displayed at any time during operation - whether the supply's output is on or off. This preview feature can be activated at the front panel while under manual, remote analog or digital control. Status LEDs indicate remote control, OVP tripped, externally-commanded output-off, constant-current or constant voltage mode, fault and output power on.
Up to four DLM power supplies can be operated in parallel. Full remote programming and status monitoring are available with the standard analog interface using either 0-5 V d.c or 0-10 V d.c. or the optional IEEE-488.2 and RS232 interface. Software drivers are also available. Auxiliary power for the DLM Series is from a standard single-phase AC supply.
