Denver Technical Products, which has been active in the power tube business for the last 15 years, has now been appointed South African distributors for e2v Technologies industrial power tubes (valves). e2v was previously known as The English Electric Valve Company (EEV).
Industrial triodes are at the heart of industrial high frequency heating. Tubes are available with output power ranging from 4,5 kW to 530 kW and many equivalents are available for tubes manufactured by other manufacturers.
Applications:
Induction heating: Induction heating is a method of heating conductive materials by subjecting it to an alternating electromagnetic field, usually at a frequency of between 100 to 500 kHz. Popular applications are pipe welding, brazing and heat treatment.
Dielectric heating: This is a method of heating non-conductive materials, at frequencies from 5 to 80 MHz, typical applications include, plastic welding of office stationery, welding of inflatable boats, tarpaulins, wood glueing of plywood, laminated wood, chipboard etc.
RF drying: This is a method of removing water in food prior to packaging and is commonly used in the textile industry for the removal of water from freshly dyed bobbins of textile.
