Although the industry downturn seems to have affected most companies, having to tighten budgets and trim costs, on the whole, most exhibitors felt the ADEC show was worthwhile, and were reasonably satisfied with the quality and quantity of visitors - although there did appear to be a lack of the more high-level visitors ('Captains of Industry').

Combining the show with another such as Electrex, Cable World, or Tel.Com, may be useful, some thought, although it is imperative that the show retains its electronics focus. One comment was that there was too much emphasis on 'relationship building' at the expense of 'demonstration of technology.'
