Quality Technologies, a company founded in March 1985, is a specialist manufacturer of various types of transformers and coils as well as power adapters and small power supplies. The company manufactures transformers and coils to customers' specifications or to in-house design, depending on their requirements.
As its name implies, quality is a major objective at Quality Technologies. To ensure this, quality procedures are instituted throughout the manufacturing processes to make sure that all product parameters can be guaranteed when applied in its field of operation. A second major objective for the company is 'delivery on time'.
Quality Technologies only manufactures in high volumes for industries and commerce and its daily output capacity is 12 000 transformers on a single shift. Its customers comprise large electronic and electrical equipment manufacturers in South Africa who, amongst other products, manufacture products such as prepaid meters, telephones, security equipment, gate and door automation, battery chargers and swimming pool chlorinators. High volumes of equipment are exported to countries overseas, including transformers to the Far East for use in telecommunication equipment.
Quality Technologies is located in Eastleigh, Edenvale in Gauteng.
