Small NTC thermistors

Passive Components
Murata's range of miniature close-tolerance temperature-compensating NTCs is developing and growing all the time. Recently, it has added new NCP15 and NCP18 ranges, which are smaller.
Nominal resistance values (25°C) are from 100 Ω to 470 kΩ. The NCP15 0402 products (1 x 0,5 x 0,5 mm) extend the resistance values down to 22 Ω and up to 470 kΩ, with more intermediate values. Standard resistance tolerances are ±5% and ±10% for all types, with 1,0% available on the 10 kΩ value in both sizes. The NCP18 series has dimensions of 1,6 x 0,8 x 0,8 mm.
Common features are B-constant tolerance of ±3% in all cases and the same B-Constant value in both sizes for the same resistance value. Rated power at 25°C is 1,0 mW, typical dissipation constant is 1,0 mW/°C and the operation temperature range is -40 to 125°C.
Murata's proprietary lead-free materials are used, and combined with a unique inner construction, ensures long-term stability. Tin plated nickel barrier over silver alloy terminations contribute to superior solderability.
