The Weller Micro Repair Station (WMRS) is a soldering station designed for fine pitch work. Equipped with software-controlled digital electronics, the WMRS was developed especially for industrial production engineering, as well as rework and laboratory applications.
The newly-developed RT soldering tips quickly reach the preset temperature after 2 seconds. The high-grade heat transfer system ensures high stability of tip-temperature even at the larger heat-demand of the soldering joint. This is particularly advantageous when using lead-free solder. For the user, such characteristics facilitate soldering work on very fine SMT circuit boards.
Temperature control of the pencil is 50-450°C with tip tolerance ±9°C. Size of the unit is 166 x 115 x 101 mm (L x W x H).
In addition the station offers a number of intelligent and ergonomic features: when placing the iron in the stand the power is switched off at once or with time delay; with the integrated standby-function, the lifetime of the soldering tips is clearly extended; soldering tips can be changed solely by hand, no other tool needed; automatic tool recognition; the tilt angle of the ergonomic iron stand is individually adjustable; the universal WMRS is operable for all Weller soldering tools up to 80 W.
