Alps Electric Europa has designed the 4-directional switch with centre push Tact switch. Its SKRH series are surface-mountable switches that are notable for their high durability of up to 200 000 or 500 000 cycles for each direction and their compact and low-profile body of 7,45 x 7,5 x 5,0 mm (L x W x H) maximum including the stem.
The SKRH series allows for four-way operation in a variety of portable digital devices in a thin switch with a centre-pushbutton. The switches are offered with or without guide bosses and rated for switching currents of up to 50 mA at a maximum of 12 V d.c. They feature operating forces of 1,23 N (4-directional) and 2,35 N (centre push) and have an actuating travel of 0,25 mm (4-directional) and 0,15 mm (centre push). Initial low contact resistance is less than 500 mΩ.
