Molex Premise Networks has released the FMS Plus. This new fibre product will be replacing the former Molex rack-mount FMS patching and splicing cabinets.
The FMS Plus has been significantly improved to now feature Smoked Lexon doors, for applications where aesthetics are important. In situations whereby security is a primary concern, the FMS Plus can also feature a steel door as an alternative. Both doors are fully lockable.
The FMS Plus is rack-mounted and is supplied with adjustable ears for mounting into cabinets. Of notable importance, the FMS Plus is available in a variety of styles for patching, splicing or a combination of the two. Single units (4U) provide up to 72 fibre patching or splicing, with double units (8U) supplying both patching and splicing within the same unit, although in individual compartments. The double units are available in 72 and 144 port styles - for very high fibre count.
For added convenience, the FMS Plus is shipped partially assembled with a configurable 6-Pak panel. The accessories for this product remain unchanged.
