Enclosure for outdoor applications keeps electronics dry

Condensation can prove fatal for electronics. Rittal developed its outdoor enclosure that prevents the possible formation of condensation, without major technical input.
A roof plate screw-fastened at a distance allows permanent air circulation, whilst a bonded insulating plate in the roof provides additional protection against dripping. It is suitable for mounting either directly on the base, on a concrete base/plinth, or on the wall.
The enclosures are available in either zinc-plated sheet steel powder-coated in RAL 7035, or for more extreme requirements, in stainless steel 1.4301. They come in sizes ranging from 800 x 1200 x 350 mm (W x H x D) to 1200 x 1200 x 350 mm, and are sealed at the rear and sides. The outdoor enclosures may also be mounted on top of one another.
