Samtec's high speed cable assembly offering now includes Twin-Ax High Data Rate Cable Assemblies on both 0,8 mm and 0,5 mm centrelines and soon-to-be-released, on 0,635 mm centreline.
These high-speed cable assemblies use high speed connectors along with 30 AWG ribbon Twin-Ax cable and specially-designed PCBs to achieve high performance (ie, low insertion loss).
Samtec's 0,8 mm pitch EQDP Series in a 30,5 cm length can perform at 9,48 Gbps per circuit at a -3 dB insertion loss.
Choice of terminations: Edge Card (EEDP Series); and high speed connectors on 0,5 mm (HQDP Series), 0,635 mm (SQDP Series), and 0,8 mm (EQDP Series). The assemblies have low skew (<5 ps/ft differential within a pair) and high flexing life (>40000 cycles).
