Gigavac, an expert in high voltage relays, has revealed a new completely sealed single pole relay rated for 70 kV. The G71 is filled with SF6 gas for low leakage and high current capacitive discharge switching. With insulated flying high voltage leads, it is safe in nearly any environment. Just 51 mm tall and 50 mm in diameter, the G71 relay is not affected by humidity or dust and can operate from -50 to +85°C.
The G71 is available in normally open (form A), normally closed (form B), and double throw (form C) configurations with 31 cm, 91 cm, 183 cm or custom-length high voltage flying leads. Coil voltages are 12 V d.c., 26,5 V d.c., 115 V d.c. or customised.
