The PI Expert software is an excellent tool to obtain a transformer design says the company, and in the vast majority of cases, it can simply interpret the selection with a standard offering from its range. No purchasing or design issues required with a standard component. To complement this it can offer suitable EMC chokes and output filters to give a design that will work with the PI silicon.
