Braille pushbutton helps visually impaired

EAO has developed a new braille option for its popular Series 56 pushbutton to help the blind or visually impaired access public facilities. Words such as 'Open' or 'Close' can be embossed in braille on the raised bezel either side of the pushbutton. This is particularly useful for accessing the sliding-door toilet units fitted in trains and coaches, but it could also be used to access public kiosks in shops, stations, etc.
To help the visually impaired locate the function button, the raised bezel is available as standard in two bright colours, yellow or orange, as well as red, blue, green, black and light and dark grey at the customer's request.
