System cabling for relay interface

9 March 2005 Switches, Relays & Keypads

The Varioface PLC-V8L adapter from Phoenix Contact has been specially developed for 14 mm PLC-Interface relay interfaces with two changeover contacts and the versions for high making current and high steady load current. Now even these relay interfaces are quick to connect - with reverse polarity protection - to PLC input and output modules using Varioface system cabling.

With PLC-V8 adapters for the small 6,2 mm models, the PLC-Interface product range with Varioface system cabling offers a cost-saving wiring system. Eight relay interfaces are connected together. The adapter plugs into the input slot without the use of additional tools.

The ribbon cable plug connector enables a quick and reverse polarity protected connection to the controller using ready-made system cables. For servicing, it is possible to replace the pluggable relays without disconnecting the wiring. The FBST bridge plug system is used for wiring equal potentials. The insulated endless bridge can be extended indefinitely, is quick to plug in, and ensures trouble-free potential multiplication here. It makes time-intensive loop bridges a thing of the past.
