Phoenix Contact's Power Combicon PC 16 are PCB-pluggable high-current connectors. Using a 16 mm² conductor, the PC 16 connector system offers a current carrying capacity of 76 A. A maximum voltage of 600 V is permissible, despite the pitch size of 10,16 mm. The same performance data is valid for the inverted version IPC 16, which uses screw-type connectors on the plug side and solderable sockets in the primary housings.
Used together, the connectors provide a range of practical connection solutions such as: touch-safe PCB outputs; flying connections between plug elements with shield connections as desired; or pluggable connections between individual PCBs.
The DFK-PC 16 feed-through connector rounds out this product family. Together with the inverted version, this offers the same connection possibilities as the PC16 standard connector. The advantage of this connector is that it makes it easy to connect a PCB through the unit housing. Secure fastening within the housing is achieved using either screws or snap-in mounting that does not require extra tools.
