Rotary position sensor with 360° electrical angle

A rotary sensor/control from Piher incorporates technology that makes it possible to give feedback across the full 360° rotational angle. The new A-15 not only offers full 360° electrical angle but also endless rotation, and comes as SMD, through-hole and horizontal adjust mounting methods. It has an extended working temperature range of -40 to +120°C, and 100 k cycles mechanical life (200 k version is available).

This product was designed to be a cost-effective replacement for absolute optical encoders of up to 6 bits. Its main intended market is for automotive use. It is quality certificated to ISO 14001, ISO TS 16949, and complies with ELV (2000/53/EC)/RoHS (2002/95/EC).
