The Gold-Place pick-and-place systems from Automated Production Systems, Models L20, L40, L60, are highly accurate, fully-automatic pick-and-place systems that are easy to program and use, and are capable of handling a wide variety of applications from discrete components (0201s) to fine pitch to BGAs.
There are three models available:
* L60 PCB size 343 mm x 813 mm, 96 feeder positions.
* L40 PCB size 343 mm x 560 mm, 64 feeder positions
* L20 PCB size 343 mm x 305 mm, 32 feeder positions.
All machines have a placement rate of 3000-4800 cph with a placement accuracy of 0,025 mm. Positional resolution is 3,25 μm with closed microstep driven motion control and high resolution rotary digital encoders.
The machines feature an automatic 4-position nozzle changer with four nozzles, and on-the-fly component centring using centring fingers. The component squaring station enables accurate placement of fine pitch components while protecting fragile leads from damage due to excessive force.
User-friendly Windows-based software is used, including CAD conversion software, software for panelised boards and self-diagnostic, error recognition and fault monitoring systems.
