Reflow data logger
9 March 2005
Manufacturing / Production Technology, Hardware & Services
Malcomtech International's RC-9 Reflow Checker series record accurate, board level temperatures by using a memory module that rides on the conveyor belt of the reflow oven along with the PCBs. After this, the memory unit is inserted into the printer or adapter, and the temperature data is transferred and displayed in either data list form, or in a temperature profile.
Colour printouts provide easier interpretation of collected data and graphs (TAM-3 software is available for analysis). The checker is an ideal thermo-recorder for quality control. It is available not only for comparison and checking of various kinds of reflow furnaces, but also for soldering work.
There are four models available (for 0-300°C, ±2°C accuracy):
* RC-9L: for 6 channel memory unit (18 mm thickness x 98 mm width).
* RC-9F: for 5 channel memory unit (19 mm thickness x 50 mm width).
* RC-9A: for 3 channel memory unit (25 mm thickness x 95 mm width).
* RC-9I: for 3 channel ultra thin memory unit (15 mm thickness x 85 mm width).
