The MEC is a digital media system that unites all home entertainment electronics (TV, digital video recorder, 6 channel HiFi sound system, MP3 player, DVD player, DVD recorder, electronic program guide, Internet, mailbox, computer and home server) and all digital media within a compact home entertainment system with dimensions of 190 x 260 x 88 mm. It reconciles an attractive design with quality, extensive audio and video functions and absolutely noiseless operation (fan-less).
The MEC is a 100%-compatible personal computer with advanced processors such as an Intel Pentium M 745 CPU, very efficient graphics capabilities with 64 MB of video memory, all common PC ports and Microsoft's Windows XP Media Center software platform. All functions can be controlled via remote control.
