Circuit & System Protection
ON Semiconductor offers four new highly-integrated EMI filter arrays with ESD protection in Thin DFN packages. Specifically designed for high-speed data interfaces in mobile phones, these 4-channel, 6-channel and 8-channel filters provide superior performance and reliability in a drop-in replacement footprint (1,35 x 3 mm) to traditional chip-scale packages.
All the new devices deliver superior S21 characteristics with extremely low parasitic inductance (10 pH to 20 pH) due to the TDFN package ground pad. These devices are capable of attenuating unwanted signals over RF band between 800 MHz and 2,9 GHz. Each device features an application specific cut-off frequency (95 MHz to 110 MHz) optimised for LCD display and camera interfaces.
The NUF4402 (4-channel) and NUF8401 (8-channel) are low capacitance EMI filters with ESD protection designed for filtering signals in LCD display and camera interfaces with maximum data rate up to 54 Mbps per line. The NUF6401 is a 6-channel EMI filter with ESD protection that is capable of attenuating unwanted signals at 35 dB between 800 MHz and 2,7 GHz.
