The G13 is a completely sealed DPDT (double-pole-double-throw) 15 kV relay from Gigavac. With a height of 48 mm and width of 55 mm, the G13 can easily handle high in-rush current switching between power sources and loads. It is designed for mounting flexibility and installation simplicity and comes with 30 cm high voltage flying leads.
Previously, switching 15 kV between power sources or loads had required the use of two double throw relays. The G13 replaces old relays and handles the high in-rush current when switching occurs. The G13 contains insulating SF6 gas. Coil voltages are 12 V d.c., 26,5 V d.c. and 115 V d.c. or customisable, while a changeable coil feature allows users to change the coil even after the relay had been installed.
