The 'Half Brick' format has been standard size for the telecommunication market and Cosel offers a number of variations of these compact modules that target communications equipment. They feature high reliability - there is no built-in aluminium or tantalum electrolytic capacitors to break down, and they have built-in overcurrent, overvoltage and thermal protection circuits and are RoHS compliant.
Cosel's CBS350 series DC-DC converter modules are 24 V d.c. or 48 V d.c. input converters with 12 V/24 V/28 V/32 V outputs (300-350 W). Operating temperature is -40 to 100°C (full output power with base plate temperature of 85°C).
The company's CES model series operates with input voltages of 36-76 V and have output power ratings of 54 to 72 W. DC outputs are 1,8 V, 30 A; 2,5 V, 25 A; 3,3 V, 25 A; 5 V, 16 A; 12 V, 6 A.
