Apem recently introduced piezo switches with a 16 mm diameter bushing. This range includes anodised aluminium models offered in different colours - natural, blue, black, green, gold and red - and a stainless steel model. All anodised aluminium switches are available with ring illumination in blue, green, red and amber colours.
These switches are piezo switches with no moving part are part of the PBA series. They are dust and waterproof (IP68), with a metal surface impervious to contamination, and ideal for applications in harsh environments.
Typical uses are for beverage dispensers, lifts, safety and security equipment, public Internet, information kiosks, mining, chemical and petrochemical equipment, food processing and medical equipment, machine tools, etc.
With momentary NO (pulse) electrical function, rated standard current is 200 mA. Life expectancy is 50 million cycles and operating temperature is -20 to +75°C.
