OKW's Diatec range of ergonomic wall-mounting and desktop enclosures have a modern flat form with contoured edges and a central recessed control area for mounting a membrane keypad or display module.

Typical applications include door entry systems, time loggers, detections systems, communications devices, and wellness and medical equipment.

The Diatec range comprises two basic sizes - external dimensions of 210 x 200 x 48 mm and 270 x 200 x 48 mm. The central control area is recessed by 2,5 mm and measures 120 x 128, or 180 x 128 mm.

The cases are moulded in off-white ABS (UL94HB) and have four moulded parts: the top and base parts and two contoured side panels that are snapped into place. The interior of the case can also be subdivided using accessory slot-in panels. Screw pillars are also provided in the top and base for mounting PCBs. The hinged lid accessory covers the control area and is available in solid ABS or translucent polycarbonate.

For wall-mounted applications, the base part also functions as a wall bracket with pre-moulded fixing points. Flush and recessed areas in the base part are designed for installation and protection of interfaces, cable glands, connectors etc. Power cables can enter the case via the underside or base panel. Two 1,5 V AA or a single 9 V cell can alternatively be accommodated in the base part.
