Round and oval cases for indoor electronics

OKW has expanded its innovative Art-Case range with six new versions of the 160 series. These aesthetic, ergonomically-shaped and tactile enclosures are ideal for housing OEM and consumer electronics.

Unlike the existing 110 series Art-Cases, which are round, the new 160 series have an oval shape (160 x 110 mm) and come in heights of 38, 41, 63 and 95 mm. The top parts can be flat, with a recess for a membrane keypad, or domed. The bottom part is inclined and can be fitted with a battery compartment for two 1,5 V AAA cells.

The cases are assembled by self-tapping screws and internal screw pillars are provided for mounting the PCBs. Optional bases increase the height by 22 mm or 54 mm and the resting angle by 30° or 60°.

Art-Cases are suitable for handheld, table top and wall mounting applications, and can even be inverted and fitted to a ceiling. They are manufactured in off-white ABS (UL 94 HB), with special colours available on request.
