Resonators for mounting with integrated circuits

Murata resonators with internal load capacitors can now be fitted on IC cards. Further developments of Murata's miniature resonator family (Ceralock) have resulted in chip versions small enough to go onto the card with the IC, and operate off 1,8 or 1,9 V, depending on the IC.

The CSTCE-V has nominal dimensions of 3,2 by 1,3 mm and is just 1,0 mm high, with a frequency range of 12,51 to 20 MHz. The CSTCG-V measures 2,0 by 1,3 mm and is 0,95 mm high with a frequency range of 20,00 to 33,86 MHz. In addition, special thin products, which are suitable for thin-package construction, are also available with a frequency range of 12,00 to 70,00 MHz.
