Bussmann's dual-indication 500 V a.c. Class gG NH fuse link breaks new ground by incorporating a simple, dual indication system, easily visible from both top and centre of the fuse link, whether it is situated in a fuse base, fuse switch-disconnector or vertical fuse rail.
Historically, manufacturers have applied one or the other types of indication to NH fuse links. Where both have been applied together, reliability has often been compromised. Bussmann's NH fuse overcomes such difficulties to give reliable dual indication of fuse operation. The fuse indicator mechanism uses fewer parts than a standard centre indication fuse link, so improving mechanical reliability. A design feature of the NH low voltage fuse links is the 6 mm blade contacts, manufactured from silver-plated copper providing permanent electrical contact.
Low voltage high breaking capacity fuses according to IEC60269-2-1, represent the most important switching and protective devices in low voltage distribution systems. Their application ranges from LV distribution boards to consumer fuse units.
