Superior performance touch-sensitive keypads

13 July 2005 Switches, Relays & Keypads

EAO has upgraded its Touch Sensitive Keypad range, featuring major functional and technical developments. The new TSK12 and TSK16 touch sensitive keypads (12 and 16 keys are standard, other numbers of keys are available on request) are delivered with a kit for easy mounting behind glass, plexiglass, polycarbonate and all non-conductive materials. For ultra cold and aggressive environments EAO also offers a special 'double glazed' version of the keypad.

The TSK12 and TSK16 touch-sensitive keypads are ergonomically-functional. Legends can be customised to suit, sensitivity easily adjusted, and a reassuring audible bleep is also offered when keys are pressed. They are available, on request, with PS2, USB and Matrix interfaces, amongst others.

These keypads are designed to resist harsh environments that may be polluted by dust, grease or ink particles suspended in the air, such as printing environments. They are also well-suited to sterile environments that are cleaned using ultrasonic techniques or high-pressure washing, as well as for use in explosive atmospheres.
