Precision dispensing systems for electronics

EFD's precision dispensing systems are used throughout the electronics industry for assembly and other applications. According to the company, these systems are able to apply accurate, consistent amounts of solder paste, flux, adhesive, epoxies and other fluids as used in electronics assembly processes - from uniform dots as small as 0,1 mm in diameter to neat, controlled beads.

The range of air-powered precision dispensers provide the following advantages: operator guesswork eliminated; consistently accurate deposits saves on material costs; products have neater appearance due to accuracy; less rejects often caused by inconsistent volume deposits; no operator hand fatigue.

With EFD's uniquely-engineered dispense components and the appropriate dispenser, higher yield, better quality products and faster output can be achieved.

The company additionally offers a range of ESD-safe components (tips, barrels, adaptors with ground strap). These unique components exhibit high conductivity and low loading of carbon black, ensuring that static electricity is dissipated. Typical figures are a static decay rate under 0,08 s and surface resistivity less than 10¹¹ Ω per square.
