Asset Management
With the development of network technology, central computer rooms are becoming more and more important in companies. The security of the IT components is increased by this and they are protected from unwanted influences. For the secure function of the server and its corresponding interfaces, the Schroff server cabinets from its Proline platform can make a worthwhile contribution.
These server cabinets based on international standards, are of modular construction and consist of a stable, welded steel frame with a static load bearing capacity to 600 kg, which is also valid for 19" planes. Depth adjustable slide rails and the variable assembly of the 19" planes enable the installation of all types of servers. In the standard version, an installation depth of 740 mm exists between the front and rear 19" assembly plane. In its standard version, 90% of all servers can be installed without additional aids.
The front and rear doors, integrated with honeycomb perforations, with a 78% air flow opening relating to the 19" plane, offer a very high air throughput. The modular top construction allows for an upgrade with pagoda style fan units or perforated panels for convection.
For the assembly of heavy equipment specific accessories like eg, anti-topple protection, heavy-duty plinth and stationary or telescopic shelves are available. A telescopic heavy duty shelf has a load bearing capacity of 150 kg when fully extended. The server cabinets are protected against unauthorised access by various lever handles, either mechanically or electronically secured. In addition to this, the side panels of the server cabinets are also lockable or alternatively, secured safely from the inside.
