The increasing automation of production processes means that machines and sensors need to be equipped with controllers and sensors. These sensors have to communicate with other systems, and this in turn requires connectors.
Balluff is responding to the customer demand for an expanded connector offering by adding significantly to its line of DC, AC and AC/DC compatible connectors. The company now has available pre-assembled cable assemblies and connectors for virtually every area of automation. Depending on the application however, the customer also needs variable cable lengths between the sensor and connector. Custom cable lengths can also now be cut to the desired length by the customer for use with the new M8 connectors for self-assembly.
All connectors are tailored for the Balluff sensors product line. They are made of PA 6 plastic and offer IP67 enclosure protection. Additional connector types can be specified when larger quantities are involved.
