To address all PLC output requirements, Tyco Electronics offers a relay with normally-open-contacts (N/O) in 5 mm. The smallest of the company's general purpose relay range, this device measures 20 x 5 x 12,5 mm giving the advantage of high packing density.
Key features include a twin crossbar N/O contact ensuring highest contact reliability at signal loads, as well as long life at 250 V a.c. It is rated for 3 A switching current, load range of 1 mA up to 3 A. It has a sensitive coil of 120 mW.
Main applications are for centralised and decentralised heating control, extremely narrow interface elements, interface technology, timers, PLCs, I/O modules, and I/O-ports etc.
Despite its small size the relay has reinforced insulation for Overvoltage Category II and Pollution Degree 2 protection.
