Tyco Electronics offers a two-pole, 30 A, T92 series flange mount, screw terminal power relay. Other models available in this series include a PCB type and a flange-mounted version with 'quick connect' termination.
Screw termination gives engineers another alternative when considering new power switching designs. M4 screws with captive pressure plates are provided for coil and load connections on this model. This relay will find application in many different industries where screws are the preferred method of connection. It could be used to switch pump, motor, compressor, heater or lamp loads in a variety of industrial controls, commercial and building equipment and other applications.
The screw terminal T92 provides 2 Form A (DPST-NO) silver-cadmium oxide contacts for load switching. Contacts are rated for maximum loads of 30 A, resistive, at 120/277 V a.c. or 20 A at 28 V d.c. Dielectric strength between contacts and coil is 4 kV rms, 1,5 kV rms between open contacts, and 2 kV rms between poles.
Various models of this enclosed relay are offered for operation on a range of AC and DC coil voltages. UL Class F (155 C) construction is used, and the relay meets UL94V-0 flammability standards.
