Vishay has extended its IHLP family of low-profile, high-current inductors with two new devices offering inductance ranges of 0,1 μH to 2,2 μH (IHLP-2525EZ-05) and 3,3 μH to 10 μH (IHLP-2525EZ-01).
Claimed to have the lowest DCR/μH for their respective package sizes, the IHLP inductors can serve as high-performing, space- and power-saving solutions for voltage regulator module (VRM) and DC-DC converter applications.
These inductors measure 6,47 x 6,86 mm with a maximum height profile of 5 mm. Both occupy the Standard 2525 footprint shared by lower-profile IHLP devices while providing higher rated current and lower DCR values. The devices are specified for saturation currents ranging from 10 A to 70 A, typical DCR values ranging from 0,81 mQ to 53,3 mQ, and maximum DCR values ranging from 0,93 mQ to 56 mQ. They feature ±20% inductance tolerance and operate over a frequency range up to 5 MHz. They are specified for an operating temperature range of -55 to +125°C.
