As technology continues to rapidly advance, the need for reliable power is no longer an option. Midtronics is supporting this requirement with testing, monitoring and maintenance products that assure power availability and cost-effective management.

According to the company, its battery test equipment is a standard tool for power maintenance at most telecommunications service providers worldwide and is used by nuclear power facilities, cable television/broadband operators, and other companies where power availability is mandatory. Designed with ease of use, efficiency and accuracy at the forefront, these industrial battery management products are a new standard in successful battery management.

Products

The Celltron Essential allows the user to test a string of batteries at a telecom site within a few minutes. This stationary battery string analyser offers the key test features used for stationary battery applications and allows for simple and quick battery maintenance. Designed for use in a variety of applications, Celltron Essential offers on-line conductance testing technology to ensure reliable test results.

The Celltron Advanced allows the user to test batteries from 5 Ah up to 6 000 Ah with the same tester. An ultimate testing tool for stationary battery management, it uses research-proven conductance technology combined with the latest enhancements for ease of use. Based on the industry-standard MicroCelltron, the Celltron Advanced incorporates an extended test range, rapid voltage-only logging and additional test memory storage.

The Celltron Ultra, available in a complete kit, tests in such a way that noise will not disturb the measuring signal. This universal stationary battery analyser incorporates advanced technology and is a testing and maintenance tool for all stationary applications, including UPS, telecoms backup power, utility switching power etc.

The SCP-612 for small battery evaluation, uses a passive test method, which means no load is applied on the battery and the battery will remain fully charged. This patented technology provides a simple method of screening the state-of-health of popularly sized 6 V and 12 V sealed lead-acid batteries.

The Celltron Start Generator/Starting Battery Analyser can be used for quick and accurate state-of-health decisions on batteries that are used in back-up generators and fleet vehicle applications.
