Schurter has extended its range of surface mount fuses with the USF 0603, the smallest fuse in the company's range to date.
The USF 0603 thin-film fuse is only 1,6 mm long, 0,8 mm wide and 0,6 mm high. It offers over-current protection with very fast-acting characteristics in a rated current range of 500 mA to 5 A. Its breaking capacity is 50 A/32 V for the whole range.
The USF 0603 is recognised according to UL 248-1. A well-visible legend marking permits visual identification of the ampere rating. It is suitable use in ambient temperatures up to 90°C and is ideal for applications in computer-peripherals, PC-cards, disk-drives, modems, PDAs, fax-machines, printers, digital cameras and mobile phones.
