200 V ultra-fast recovery diodes address SMPS market

International Rectifier's MUR series of ultra-fast recovery diodes is ideal for use in the output stages of 24/48 V SMPS systems, one of the fastest growing segments in the power supply market. International Rectifier now offers the MUR Series of epitaxial diodes with reverse recovery times of 25 ns. Available in single and centre-tapped dual configurations, the new devices are suited for use in switchmode power supply applications. With breakdown voltage ratings of 200 V, there is a choice of common cathode or single diode configuration in a number of different package types, including TO-220, D2Pak and TO-262.
