New RoHS legislation and technical manual

Following on from the success of Farnell InOne's 'Step-by-Step Guide to Compliance with the RoHS Directive' first published to the industry in November 2004, Farnell InOne has launched its latest RoHS publication for design engineers - 'RoHS Legislation & Technical Manual'.

This Legislation & Technical Manual updates the previous step-by-step guide and now includes additional information about where restricted substances are likely to be found, together with a detailed lead-free soldering guide and a trouble-shooting guide to rework and repair.

ERA Technology (www.era.co.uk) helped in compiling the manual.
