Artesyn Technologies' BXF200/250 series of high-density, full-brick, DC-DC converters are offered with a range of features in a standard industry footprint and afford designers greater flexibility in managing their high-density power needs. The GBXF200/250 is designed for distributed power applications in the computing and communications markets.
The single-output BXF200/250 is built in the industry standard, full-brick footprint. It is initially available with output voltages of 3,3, 2,5, 2, 1,8 and 1,5 V with a 48 V (36-75 V) input. The BXF200/250 series are very cost-effective and have a MTBF of >1 750 000 h. Users can draw up to 40 A from the BXF200 and 50 A from the BXF250.
All BXF200/250 models offer a wide range of standard features including short-circuit, overvoltage and overtemperature protection which safeguard expensive circuitry and ensure reliable operation. The modules also include wide trim capability, remote sensing and remote on/off. The BXF200/250 has a 1500 V d.c. isolation rating and carries full international safety approval.
